The 30th of August 2023 will remain a very remarkable date in the history of Western Naval Command as Mrs Zainab Abdullahi,wife of Rear Admiral M M Abdullahi FOC, Western Naval Command and 20 other NOWA women on her entourage took a familiarization tour of some commands under the Western Naval Command. As a passionate and caring mother, she visited the hospitals; Obeisesan Medical Center,Apapa Road under the Command of Surgeon Commander N.C.Anyanwu and was received by Surgeon Captain Mohammed the Commander of the Nigerian Navy Reference Hospital, Navy Town Ojo respectively . Mrs Zainab Abdullahi came bearing gifts for the mother and child care Units. She crested her tour at the office of the Commandant NN WEY who took his time to educate the women about the scope of his responsibility. He did not release the women without prayers , lots of words of encouragement and admonition on how best to support their husbands in prayers. In return, they NOWA women led by our dear Mummy West Mrs Zainab Abdullahi as she is fondly called appreciated the Commander NNS WEY Commodore Dahiru for all the support they enjoy from his Office. NOWA Acquisition Centre was not left out of the tour as she went round the center before retiring for the day.
